we just sold our primary residence in Richmond Va and spent the summer at our beach house in a 4x4 area on the obx. you can only get to the house by driving on the beach (4 wheel drive car and low tide work best :) or by boat. We have been coming here since 1998 and vacationing but it is definitely different LIVING here. Carova beach NC, google it! anyway, always up for adventure and with all the hurricanes it certainly has been.

It pretty much is a blur, lots of "first's" for sure not writing anything down as I have learned the first rule of parenting is to NEVER let the kids know what you did at their age....Lets say it was hard for them to be original.
fav memory? switching places with mary in detention? Our grandmother did not speak English so when we blew off school and they'd call she would just hang up the phone
driving with Mansfield to Wisconsin to buy beer at the bratstop and leaving my wallet at the rest stop...the kind lady who found it brought it to our house unfortunately she beat me home so mom was holding my wallet at 2:30 in the afternoon on a school day wanting to know how it got to Wisconsin.......

ISU 2 years graduated with my BA from the college of Charleston SC TRAVELED around (europe, mexico) Grad school at Texas A&M college station Texas and ended up back in chicago married to a guy from Niles North? Turns out he and marys husband were friends in HS......you can't make this shit up!
